Shale Gas Workshop

Today October 28, 2011, HydroConfidence is hosting a workshop about Shale Gas Safety in Pittsburgh at CMU. The workshop includes specialist from several sectors of Shale Gas production. Our goal is to develop an understanding of the environmental and safety issues in shale gas production, and how the coalition of companies of HydroConfidence, Frac Biologies, MicroSeismic, CTC and CMU can deliver a comprehensive solution to the industry.

APV Wins $550,000 DOE Grant

After American Pioneer Ventures' recent proposal project titled “Green Oil CO2-Enhanced Oil Recovery for America’s Small Oil Producers“, in response to Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America’s RFP2009SP001, had been selected to be awarded $16.5 Million amongst 16 other proposals for the Unconventional Resources and Small Producer Programs, they have been finally selected to be awarded $550,000 in funding from RPSEA under contract with the Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory.
